James is amazing!!!!!! I've been to a lot of weddings and he was by FAR the best DJ. It was really important to us for us and our guests to have a good time once the dance floor opened and we sure did. The dance floor was poppinnn all night long. Everyone talked about how much fun they had. Anytime a song played that didn't really vibe with the crowd he would smoothly transition into the next song. He was super friendly, helpful & responsive the entire wedding planning process. I really couldn't recommend him enough!

DJ UJ went above and beyond for our wedding. He catered to our music request, managed the sound tracks flawlessly for transitions and flow. The dance floor was never empty, and he was able to coordinate all eras/genres to keep all parties dancing, and the fun moving- 10/10 recommend, thanks DJ UJ!

James was unreal at our wedding at Elements at Water Street in downtown Naperville on August 5th. The dance floor was absolutely packed from the first song until the last. He was everything we wanted and more. He's not only the best DJ around, but he's an all-around awesome person. He's very easy to work with and makes you feel like family. He will make you want to throw another party because everyone had so much fun. If you are looking to have an unforgettable wedding you do not have to look any further, because he's the man for the job. James was not only a DJ for our special day, but he will continue to be a friend of ours for many years to come. Thank you for everything James you don't know how much we appreciate you and the fun you brought to our wedding.

Jimmy was out of this world for our wedding in June 2022 at the Danada House! His platform for us to choose songs for our wedding was easy to use and the song sheet was very detailed for our wedding party. He took care of sound and lighting for our entire day. Jimmy definitely knows how to keep the party going and our guest were dancing the night away. We would highly recommend Jimmy for any event. Thank you for making our day so special!

Jimmy handled my daughter's wedding on September 23, 2022 at the Danada House in Lisle.

He did everything from the ceremony, to MC, to music and light man.

It was extraordinary and we can't thank you enough for your wonderful job for this special day.

I HIGHLY recommend Jimmy for any type of event.

Jim was our DJ for our 50th Wedding anniversary in mid-November.
I like that we were able to choose our music easily thru a link he sent
His interaction with the children, teens and adults is what makes him a true professional.
The day of our party, we had children from age 4 to adults in 80s, and Jim reached everyone.
What impressed me is that he knew how to entertain the little ones and their parents enjoyed the party as well.
We all danced and had a great time.
We highly recommend DJUJ for any events!

James was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He was so flexible when we had to change our date twice because of the Covid-19 pandemic. His platform was easy to use for adding the music we wanted played during our reception. He did a great job playing soft instrumental music during dinner so that everyone could still talk and hear each other. He kept the party going and had us all dancing all night long. We would definitely recommend James for your wedding or any event needing a DJ. Thanks for making our special day perfect!

Jim is truly a fantastic DJ. Many DJ’s make an event about them and they become the center of attention. Jim never lets his ego overwhelm the people at the center of the event: the couple or the venue. Jim plays great music and weaves your requests into a great danceable playlist. I cannot recommend Jim higher. I have known him for over 30 years. He is a wonderful human being and he knows how to build great entertainment. Oh and he got two important songs we requested. Both very challenging to get and not by well known performers. One was our recessional from the ceremony. The other our first dance song. Jim is wonderful

DJUj DJed our wedding last night (10/16/2020) & I couldn’t get on here fast enough to write a review! From the beginning, Jimmy has been such a pleasure to work with. He is so personable, responsive, & flexible even when had to switch our venue to one in another state! When my husband & I had met Jimmy for coffee a few months before the wedding, we honestly had forgotten it was the first time we had met. It was like we were hanging out with a friend we had known for years! A DJ plays such a crucial role in a wedding & after talking to him, we trusted him completely. SO glad we did! Jimmy killed it yesterday. The dance floor was packed all night long! We are still getting calls & texts about how great he was! His lights on the dance floor were awesome. His set up looked great. He also brought uplighting that completely transformed the ballroom! Thank you a million times for making our day the BEST DAY EVER, Jimmy!
