Having a great DJ is essential to having a fun wedding. Hiring James was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding because he made sure to keep people on the dance floor till the very last song of the night. James was fun and professional throughout our wedding. We choose to use the up-lighting option that he offered and it looked beautiful in our venue. I would recommend James to everyone and have nothing but wonderful things to say about him!

James was absolutely amazing! I am very risk averse so he let me come see him perform at another event before booking to set my mind at ease. He also met with us before the wedding date to get everything from preceremony and entrance music to introduction of bridal party and first dance songs down. Everything was perfect. He played fun music that got people were dancing. On the day of, he arrived early and everything was set up and ready to go for the ceremony. Best of all, we paid half as much as most DJs we looked at were charging and he way better than any of the DJs I've seen at other weddings.

We really lucked out with James.

James was an absolutely incredible DJ! He performed at our wedding last August and we really couldn't have hoped for a better DJ. He not only kept people on the dance floor the entire night, he managed to do it with exactly the type of music my wife and I love. He was also a very flexible and very charismatic Master of Ceremonies, and introduced each part wonderfully with lots of his own little touches.

My wife and I have been to several weddings since ours, and we've gotten the chance to see just how incredible James is when compared to other DJs. From the ceremony to the reception, he completely exceeded our expectations and really helped to make our wedding perfect.

James Mastrino did a fabulous job of keeping the girls and dads engaged at our daddy daughter dance! He totally knows how to create the right environment and has a great personality. He was also very pleasant to work with. Would use his services again in a heart beat!

My wife and I were recommended James at DJUJ by a friend as we were searching for someone to play our wedding. We drove out to Rosemont and watched him play for a short while before booking him on the spot! This guy is absolutely amazing. There is so much more to DJing than simply playing music, especially at a wedding, and James is truly a professional. He has an energetic and welcoming personality, and he is fantastic at setting the mood, be it a fast-paced jam with everyone moving on the dance floor or a slow romantic melody. I can’t imagine our wedding without James as our DJ. We have since recommended him to several of our friends, however we are not the only ones who have noticed his talent, and his schedule fills up fast! If you can book him, you will not be disappointed with James as your DJ/master of ceremonies.

Honestly, James is the best DJ we could've asked for on our wedding day! He is extremely nice, accommodating, fun, and will make your special day the best it can be. He went above and beyond for us and he exceeded our expectations. There was not one minute where people weren't on the the dance floor. I highly recommend him for any occasion.

James was amazing. I have 2 other friends who used him for their wedding before I did. His price is unbeatable and service exceeds expectations. He is quick to respond to emails and texts/calls during the planning process. Not one of those huge vendors where you get a secretary or they don't respond for a few days--you speak right to James everytime. Also, my hall was dark and he went ahead and tossed in uplighting free because he didn't like the way the hall looked. Reliable and affordable ! Thanks again dj jimmy!!
