James was amazing to work with from the very first email! Very responsive, very kind, lots of energy, affordable, and kept the party going all night long! To us, the DJ was one of the most important vendors to choose, since they are the ones to keep the guests entertained and keep the energy level up all night, and Jimmy really exceeded our expectations! We had specific songs picked out for each "event" (bridal party entrance into ceremony, my entrance into ceremony, recessional, bridal party entrance into reception, our entrance, cake cutting, garter removal and toss, bouquet toss, last song of the night, etc., etc...), and some even had specific times that we wanted them to start or stop, and he did everything flawlessly. The uplighting was also perfect and matched our colors very well. Our wedding was honestly the most fun wedding I've been to, and I give a lot of that credit to the DJ!! Overall, we are so happy with the service he provided. We HIGHLY recommend DJUj!!

If you’re looking for a more than impressive DJ that goes above and beyond his job description, James Mastrino is your guy. James DJ’ed our ceremony and reception at Noah’s Event Venue and blew me away. After meeting face-to-face with him for the first time, I was at ease and felt so comfortable with him being such a big part of our wedding. James and I were in constant communication leading up to the wedding. He went out of his way to contact my wedding coordinator, talk me through some of my stresses, accommodate a last-minute video clip showing, and was just beyond professional the day of. The dance floor was packed all night! 2 weeks after our wedding and we are still getting compliments on our dance floor music and DJ in general.The night was perfect and smooth because of his expertise and entertainment. Not to mention, he is ABSOLUTELY affordable! My husband and I will definitely be using James Mastrino for any future entertainment needs!

James was amazing!!! My husband and I had our wedding on 7/22/16 and everything went absolutely perfect. A huge part of that perfection was our DJ. He kept constant communication with us leading up to the event, helped us when we were clueless, and during our wedding again had killer communication skills. He worked well with us, our parents, and our photographer to ensure our night was perfect. He also kept our friends and family on the dance floor all night!! He's kind, funny, very outgoing and has a very sharp memory. He has a lot to offer and will make sure he does everything he can to make your night a success!! We loved having James!!! He is also very affordable. No doubt we would book him in the future for other events!!

As I lay hear in bed, after an amazing wedding. I can honestly say I have never danced so much! Djuj was amazing. Everyone had such a blast and we had so many compliments. James was professional, fun, engaging and motivated everyone to dance. The ceremony music was just perfect too!

We booked him immediately after a friends wedding a year ago and our friends will be doing the same.

James is amazing! He did the music for our ceremony and DJ'd our wedding at Danada House. All we're hearing is how awesome our DJ was. It was the most fun and best wedding I've ever been to (and not just because it was my own). I've heard that from a number of my friends and family members. You'd be lucky to have James DJ your wedding.

I'm going to cut right to the chase. James Mastrino was literally the greatest DJ I have ever seen. I know that sounds so cliche, but I absolutely mean it. He had everyone dancing for the entire night. We had to push people off of the dance floor at the end of the night. The music he was playing was perfect! He played music that fit with every age, generation, and type of person.

Not to mention, the price was right! It was so reasonable and totally paid off because of the service he provided. He played all requests and had people laughing with his awesome sense of humor. He even brought this really cool backlighting that added to our rustic ambiance. He was simply amazing and I highly suggest you go with him!

I cannot say enough good things about James! He was amazing!!! He did everything and more than we asked for. Our family and friends are still talking about how great he was! I had one friend say "this was one of the best weddings I have been to in a long time" and it was all thanks to him! You would be foolish not to use him as your DJ. Thanks again James for everything!

Jim was amazing to work with. Even before choosing to have Jim as our DJ he was very approachable and helpful. Our wedding was at Itasca CC in IL, but we currently live in Redondo Beach, CA so communication was very important to us. Jim made sure to help however he could. We had phone conferences, and also met in person the week prior to the wedding. Jim provided music and microphones for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (all different rooms). When it was time to start our reception from the minute our wedding party entered Jim was on top of everything. He was the "QB" of our wedding and made sure that the plan we discussed went perfectly. We requested some songs on his client portal, but also wanted to make sure he had freedom as a DJ to play what he felt fit. He did an AMAZING job. I would highly recommend him to anyone! P.S. if you are on the fence for getting the uplighting, definitely get it, it made all of our pictures of our reception look amazing!

If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding or anything else, look no further James is the best. He did our ceremony and reception and everything was perfect. He works with you to make your night very special. From the start, James communicates with you to find out exactly what type of music, lighting, and mood you want at your wedding. Then throughout the night he checks in with you to make sure everything is going right. On top of everything, you can't beat the price. To make it plain and simple, James is the best.

Jimmy is seriously one of the best wedding DJs around! We have had nothing but remarkable feedback from our guests from our wedding over Memorial Day weekend (2016) everyone of all ages had a blast! We couldn't have asked for a nicer guy to help us with the process and join in our celebration, he wil trully do whatever he can to make sure that the dance floor is packed from start to finish. We were so happy we chose DJUJ for our wedding and I would highly recommend him if you are looking to have a good time!
