Stop looking and contact James right now. He was amazing!!! He also does uplighting and he did our ceremony as well! I've already recommended him to other friends. He was beyond accommodating, professional and the VALUE! I mean. He was great, I felt like we'd known him forever and he made sure our day was perfect! He read the room and engaged people with music they wanted to listen to and dance to! Book him now because if I can I'm going to recommend him to everyone and he may be busy!

DJ UJ, where do we start! Let's just say, you won't be disappointed if you book James for any of your events. My new husband and I have been to several weddings where the DJ basically ruined the night, so when it came to finding a DJ for our wedding, I was very cautious. Your DJ runs the show! Needs to be reliable, knowledgeable about
all music, and have a good voice! We got all that and more with him. DJ UJ came recommended to us through a friend, and after hearing his prices and comparing some other DJs, his pricing was by far the cheapest we had found. I am saying he's cheap in pricing, but we feel we booked an amazing and very professional DJ. (Basically he should be charging a lot more! But we didn't tell him that!)

Our wedding went off perfectly. He did our ceremony music, cocktail hour, and then reception and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I can't say enough good things about the service provided. Thank you!

DJ Jimmy is AMAZING!

He was the DJ for my wedding in February 2012. Setting up an appointment was easy and DJ Jimmy invited my wife and I to a current booking he had setup. My wife and I went and met him there. The bride and groom of the wedding noticed us, came over and said "DJ Jimmy is amazing!", instead of throwing us out!

DJ Jimmy did a great job at our wedding. He entertained the kiddos early on much to the relief of some parents. The service was fantastic and the pricing was very reasonable.

In fact, DJ Jimmy booked three future weddings at my event from my wedding guests...if that doesn't speak volumes I dont know what would.

Hands down THE BEST!!!! We had some last minute changes-James rolled with the punches and made everything go seamlessly!!! We could not have been happier!!!!!! A large part of our wedding ceremony was our nieces and nephews...James completely involved them for the beginning of our reception(before they had to leave for the evening) EVERYONE. THAT. WAS. THERE. LOVED. HIM! We have gotten multiple complements on how awesome James was and he really made our night that much more fun!! Highly recommend and we will ONLY use him for events from here on out!!!!! Thank you!!!

DJ Jimmy is the absolute best DJ I have ever heard!! He is just good at what he does! Three of my friends used him as their DJ for their weddings and I knew when we got engaged he was a must have! After the venue was booked, we booked Jimmy! He makes the crowd stay on the dance floor and he really listens to what you want! Through his custom page you can select songs and other special dances you want! He had great suggestions when we weren't sure what songs would be best for things like the garter toss and so on. We were able to meet him at a local Starbucks before the big day! Just to talk about some last minute details! I highly recommend him to anyone getting married or really having any function they want music for! He keeps the crowd going and is wonderful to work with! We also used him for the uplighting at our venue because he was much cheaper! He doesn't charge extra to introduce the bridal party or anything like that! You will not be disappointed!

Where to beginning?!! DJ James was phenomenal!!! We loved our decision of having him be our DJ! He made us feel so comfortable, he was open to suggestions when I needed advice. I literally felt like he was part of my family! He not only made the reception a hit but he saved the day at our ceremony when my officiant was 45min late. I was beyond satisfied with his services! Our experience with Jimmy was nothing short of incredible. He met with us early on in the process to get to know us and what we really wanted to get out of the night. He helped completely customize our special day to reflect who we are and what we wanted out of our wedding day. I'm not kidding when I say that our wedding was PERFECT & we owe so much of that to Jimmy. He showed up early, connected with all our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page and that entire day would go smoothly. It was like magic the way he made everything come together. Jimmy knows how to read his audience like you couldn't imagine. He had interactive songs and props for the kids, beautiful dance melodies for some of our older guests, and he brought the hits and kept everyone dancing until the lights came on! I cannot tell you how many guests came up to me RAVING about our DJ! Booking Jimmy for our wedding was without a doubt the very best decision we made throughout our entire planning process!

James was the DJ at our wedding last week, and I must say that he did a very nice job. Throughout the planning process, he was prompt with his responses to questions and had quite reasonable rates in comparison to other local DJ services. Not to mention, his friendly demeanor makes you feel right at ease. He provided online planning tools to select music ahead of time, and there was always a good amount of guests out on the dance floor; there was never a stale moment throughout the evening. Additionally, James helped to ensure that the speeches and slideshow portion ran smoothly and offered suggestions based off of his experience. The equipment sounded and worked great, and his uplighting around the banquet room looked beautiful. We would recommend working with James for an easy and fun experience. Thank you!

We had James DJ our wedding last month at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton, and it was a huge success! James was extremely accessible, answering all of our emails and phone calls quickly. He was also very accommodating, offering to provide the music and microphones for our ceremony and cocktail hour at no additional charge! He was extremely professional, set up and ready on time for every part of our evening, and he made sure to get all of our song requests in, while still taking requests from our guests. Everyone was up and dancing the whole night, and commented on how much they liked our DJ! He is also very competitively priced compared to other DJ companies in Chicago, and I will continue to recommend him to friends and family in the area! Thanks James!
